The Shakira Candlesticks were designed for the group show “Curse the Darkness” by the American Design Club.  The form is inspired by the curvaceous figure and music of it’s namesake.  The candlesticks were produced in three distinct finishes; unfinished stoneware with a white glazed rim, white glaze with a 14k gold luster rim, and a black lava-textured glaze.

“Curse the Darkness” was debuted at Sight Unseen OFFSITE for NYCxDesign 2015.
